so the exam season has come and gone.shadzie arrived in auckland and before i knew it,so many things have already happened i.e clubbing around town and napier trip.
speaking of napier trip(which i probably wud have enjoyed better if the weather wasnt so crappy),i have to say i will definitley be going back there again to really take in alll napier has to offer.the art deco feel of the era when napier was rebuilt is definitely still alive,kicking and evident in that small town.the backpackers we stayed in(waterfront lodge i think) was also awesome.love the whole quaint/homey feel of the place.hoping to go back ther efor the artdeco fest in february.ppl get dressed up in costumes from the art deco/1930’s era and walk don the street.you HAVE to be in costume if not u just get left out, so im def gonna get all dressed up for that.

man,i find myself spending more and more time getting caught up in the past.nothing sounds better than the sounds of the 80’s/90’s alternative scene.goo goo dolls,wallflowers,pre pop matchbox 20 nd incubus are dominateting my music list.
spend time thinking about all the things that happened  like high school,college,friends back home,simple pleasures in life taken for granted.
it’s crazy how these things come back to haunt you.
maybe its winter.
maybe its the end of the semester.
maybe its just me not doing anything productive.
but this is what occupies my time.
that,sleep and watching dvds.hehehe

its so chilly here that when i get up in the morning,i feel like ive left the air conditioner on al nite.thing is, NZ doesnt have air conditioner units.and i dont have one in my room to leave on by mistake.the chill seeps into everything;the room, the bedsheets,your clothes.its quite disheartening actually.
but,isn’t this what i asked forright?i should be grateful.i should be grateful for the wind,the frostbites,the winter.i’m sure it’ll get better.i mean,winter is like the lowest point.then comes summer spring autumn then back again to winter right?so it can only get better from here.
one thing i do like about winter is that i can use my boots as often as i want coz they really do keep your feet nice and snug(despite the occasional sore you get for walking around in those shoes.yeesh).thank god for number one shoe warehouse,the awesome place where u can get fabulous deals for fabulous shoes.not that i need anymore fabulous shoes.i really should stop going there coz ive got more shoes than i could possiblely imagine wearing.yikes.hehehehe.
days are flying by.daylight hors are getting smaller.shadzie is due to arrive.man,i’ gonna freeze waiting for her at the airport.

so if tackled one paper,i’m left with 3 more
linguist done,educ 116 next,followed by educ 115 and finally that damned engwrit paper
i ust hope i do well on all these papers coz apparently my coursework marks arent that great.
i dont think i did great for linguist.maybe i’ll get like 60.plus the marks i got for my assignments,i mite be able to get a B average.
im so gonna screw up educ.its not that i dont know what im talking about.but to write it in a way that will let me get good marks,thats my problem .i guess i just have to be really thorough with my explainations.its kinda hard coz i tend to over babble which means waste of time and words.its my flaw.i shold just stick to creative writing.
as for engwrit.well.lets just say,that course is designed to indoctrine and acknowledge only one style of writing,it does not appreciate the diversity of individual/personal style.im not looking forward to the exqam either.dunno what they’ll ask us to write about.last time it was all about child abuse and anti smacking law yada yada yada.sheesh.boring ass shit.prob gonna do the same thing again kot.yeay…..-_-"
one thing that makes me sad about ending the exam season is it means the end of a sem.i cant believe time has just flown by.and i havent achieved anything spectacular!!!!dammit!!!!!!i feel like belle at the start of beauty and the beast-there must be more to life than this????!!!!!!
sure its great the whole freedom to do whatever u want,manage ur life,be an adult,grow intellectually and culturally yada yada yada.but i just imagined it to be more awesome than this.oh well.maybe next sem.new room,new housemates,new timetable,hopefully new job.cash means more opportunities and opportunities is good!

in a way it’s kinda good la,if u are into that whole scene.for example,i was in a lingerie shop yesterday,looking around and i saw this couple shopping there.the girl tried on a bra then showed it to the guy.let’s just say,i could tell he really liked it.in that sense,good la,they are doing somethign constructive together as a couple
but then u have those sleazy,skeazy guys who go to places like showgirls and whitehouse to watch "live action".and its not like 1 or 2 guys tau.ramai!!!!!berderet-deret,esp on weekends.dah la thats the time me and the girls go out,have to endure alll that crap.shit giler!!!!
oh well,what to do rite?they say in rome,do as the romans do.but just coz im in kiwland dont mean im gonna DO any kiwis anytime soon if ever.but life is just THAT much harder because im not inclined towards their sex-up lifestyle.boo hoo or me eh?
